What is it?  POPS! Summer Singing Camp includes five days of exciting music-making and performance instruction.  Students will develop singing, dancing, and acting skills to prepare a showcase performance.

Who can join?
Perry Township students who are currently in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th grade 


Dates: 
Camp occurs from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM on these dates:
  • Monday, June 9
  • Tuesday, June 10
  • Wednesday, June 11
  • Thursday, June 12
  • Friday, June 13
Showcase Performance Date: Friday, June 13, 2025 at 7:00 PM

Location:
Perry Meridian High School, Auditorium and Choir Room


Instructors: 
  • Melissa Ai-Ling Walsh, Director of Choirs and Musical Productions at Perry Meridian High School
  • Meghan Walls, Assistant Choir Director at PMHS, PMMS, and PMA
  • Abby Mercer, PMHS 2022 graduate and Music Education student at Anderson University
  • Anna Miles, PMHS 2022 graduate and Music Therapy student at University of Indianapolis
  • Kira Arkins, PMHS 2022 graduate and Theater Education student at Ball State University

Camp cost: $80.00 per student. ($40.00 for each additional sibling)

What is covered with this cost?
  • Five days of instruction
  • Daily snack
  • Show shirt
  • Usage of show music and production items (costumes, props, set pieces)
  • Two complimentary tickets to the Showcase performance (Additional tickets are $5.00)

Registration Deadline
: Sunday, June 1, 2025 or until the Camp is full (maximum 50 students)
